I love tomatoes. Tomato salad, tomato juice, tomato sauce, tomato salsa, tomato everything. So I decided this spring that I am going to try my green thumb. Yes, using tomato fertilizer, I will be able to reap a harvest of those luscious red fruits, their skins firm and bursting with ripeness, their color signifying that they are ready to be consumed. Come mid-August, I will have them all to myself! Well, maybe I’ll invite my girlfriend over for dinner; she likes tomatoes, I guess. The secret, however, is to use a liquid organic fertilizer, that way my tomatoes will be bigger than all the rest!
